Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Roseate Reading is often praised for its beautiful building and up-market reception area, conveniently located near the town centre and Reading's main street, just a short walk from the train station. Many guests find the rooms spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, particularly enjoying the large beds and nice bathrooms. Some have mentioned the spa facilities being quite basic; however, the good value location, proximity to a park right in front of the hotel, and the excellent breakfast experience often compensate for it.

A Romantic Weekend Getaway

warm greetingcharming decorgenuine warmththoughtful selection
I celebrated a special anniversary weekend. The receptionist warmly greeted us and clearly explained the parking. The décor seemed like a grand London hotel, exuding charm and a good fragrance. I appreciated the thoughtful selection of background music. The staff exhibited genuine warmth.
The mini cups for coffee were a tad small. Hot chocolate sachets filled over half the cup, restricting the water content.
